How to Properly Use Dishwasher Detergents and Rinse Aids in Your Samsung Dishwasher?
When running wash cycles with your Samsung dishwasher, use only detergents specifically formulated for dishwashers. Do not use soaps or detergents intended for other appliances.

- Other types of detergents may produce excessive foam, which can decrease the dishwasher’s performance or cause it to malfunction.
You will need to use detergent when running wash cycles in your Samsung dishwasher. Add the manufacturer's recommended amount for the selected cycle to ensure optimal performance. You can use either enzyme-based or chlorine-based detergents.
Note: If you're using detergent pods or tablets, make sure the pod or tablet is placed properly in the dispenser and the dispenser door is closed properly. If it does not fit, use a different brand of pods or tablets, or liquid dishwasher detergent instead.
Using a rinse aid improves the drying performance of your dishwasher. Consider using a smaller amount of detergent and increasing the rinse aid.

Cautions and notes for using rinse aid:
- It is recommended to use only liquid rinse aid. Powdered rinse aid may clog the reservoir opening and cause the dishwasher to malfunction.
- Do not overfill the rinse aid reservoir, as this may cause the rinse aid to overflow during a cycle.
- Do not apply detergent to the rinse aid reservoir.
