Setup Laundry Planner on Samsung Washing Machine
Can't trust the kids to start the load of washing before you get home? Or want to have the cycle finish at a certain time just as you arrive finish work? You can easily create a Laundry Planner to conveniently start washing your clothes to finish at a particular time. Follow these quick and easy steps to setup a Laundry Planner using the SmartThings App.
Before setting up Laundry Planner:
- Ensure you have added your compatible smart washing machine through the SmartThings App (scroll down to find the "compatible devices" option to check)
- Ensure you have Smart Control enabled on your washing machine, and both the washing machine and smartphone are connected to the same WiFi network (it may take some time for the washer to register, please wait a little after enabling Smart Control). Otherwise, the Laundry Planner function on the SmartThings App may be disabled.
Setting Up Laundry Planner
1. Head into SmartThings and select your washer. Then, tap 'Laundry Planner'.
2. Drag the dial to select the desired End Time of the washing cycle. Depending on the end time, different recommended cycles can appear below.
3. After selecting your preferred recommended cycle, tap START on the bottom right to begin washing.
4. If you change your mind and want to stop the cycle, simply tap the Cancel or Pause button when viewing the washing cycle.
