Why Did Galaxy Watches Adopt Dimming Mode Starting from Watch7?

Starting with the Galaxy Watch7, the display operation has been updated to enter a dimming mode with the backlight turned off. In contrast, earlier models, such as the Galaxy Watch6 series, gradually blur the screen until it reaches the screen timeout. During idle periods without input, these models display the current time at the top of the screen.
