How to enable or disable the microphone switch on Samsung Smart TVs

You can easily enable or disable the microphone on your Samsung Smart TV by using the microphone switch located on the TV. Turning on the microphone will let you use voice input features, such as Bixby.
How to Turn the Microphone Switch On and Off on Samsung Smart TV

Connect your device to the network: To use Bixby, or any voice input features with your Samsung TV, your device must first be connected to your network.

Locate the microphone switch: The microphone switch will be located either at the bottom center or bottom right side of the TV, and the appearance of the switch will vary depending on the TV model.

Move the switch into opposite position: The movement could be left or right.

The TV screen will display a pop-up window:
- If the notification says that the microphone is off, you will not be able to use any voice input features, so move the switch back into its original position to turn it on.
- If the notification says that the microphone is on, you can now use all voice and sound features, like Bixby.

- Voice input features may not be supported on all products.
