The ultimate guide to maintaining your Samsung AirDresser
Your AirDresser breathes new life into musty garments, but to continue doing so, it requires regular maintenance. Accumulation of lint and debris is inevitable over time. By keeping your AirDresser clean and well-maintained, not only will it operate more efficiently, but it will also extend its lifespan.
Note: The following guidelines apply to Samsung AirDressers available in Canada. Features and options may vary for models sold in other regions.
The mirrored surface of the AirDresser can attract fingerprints and blemishes, but they can be easily removed.
To clean, gently wipe the exterior with the included cleaning cloth. For tougher stains, slightly dampen the cloth, wipe, and then dry off the surface.
Note: Avoid using abrasive or flammable cleaners, and never spray water directly onto the AirDresser.
The AirDresser is equipped with a Self Clean cycle, eliminating the need for manual scrubbing of its interior.
Note: The Self Clean cycle does not remove mold or limestone deposits.
When the AirDresser displays a descaling notification, you should perform a descaling cycle using a liquid descaling agent to help keep the AirDresser free of limescale and performing at its best. You can use a "liquid descaling agent" meant for coffee makers, which can be purchased online.
Important: If you do not perform descaling immediately after getting the notification message, some functions may be restricted and the AirDresser performance may decrease.
Note: The Refill Tank is 50 ounces (1.48 l).
When you leave water sitting for too long, it can attract bacteria and get really gross. Therefore, you should clean both of the water tanks on a regular basis.
If you frequently use the AirDresser to refresh heavy items or items that accumulate a large amount of dust or allergens, we recommend cleaning the air filter frequently. A musty filter won’t do a good job of making musty items fresh again.
For those who often rely on their AirDresser to rejuvenate bulky items or pieces prone to gathering significant dust or allergens, it's advisable to regularly change the FreshFinish filter. A stale filter falls short in revitalizing items that have become musty, compromising the freshness restoration process.
Notes:
- Do not use fabric softener sheets for the fragrance filter; it is recommended that you use only the dedicated dryer sheets for your AirDresser.
- Dryer Sheets not provided. Scent strength may differ based on the dryer sheet used. Scent may remain inside the AirDresser after the cycle is complete. Discard dryer sheets after each cycle to prevent mold growth.
Just like a dryer, the AirDresser collects leftover lint and debris from clothing. Over time, the lint filter will become filled with lint, which can affect its performance. For the best results, we recommend cleaning the lint filter before and after running a cycle on the AirDresser.
Note: Make sure to replace a damaged lint filter.
