Your Galaxy A52 5G offers four camera lenses for capturing professional-grade ultra wide and macro shots. You will also be able to take high resolution videos, whether you are filming a cooking tutorial or a new video for your followers.
Below are some additional details of each lens type:
- A 64MP main lens that includes an optical image stabilizer (OIS) to reduce blur and produce high-resolution photos and videos.
- A 12MP Ultra Wide lens that provides an immersive 123 degree viewing angle for capturing everything around you.
- A 5MP Macro lens that focuses on small details like plants and animals.
- A 5MP Depth lens to support Portrait mode’s bokeh effect.
The Macro lens on your Galaxy A52 5G is ideal for taking super close shots of flowers or your favorite beverage. This lens will enlarge your subjects so you can see every detail, like individual blades of grass and subtle colors.
Navigate to and open the Camera app, and then tap MORE. Tap MACRO, and then hold your phone 3 to 5 centimeters away from the subject you want to photograph. Then, tap the Capture button.
Note: You cannot zoom in or out when using the Macro lens mode.
If you want to show off a new makeup technique, use Portrait mode on your Galaxy A52 5G to focus in on your face. Portrait mode takes crisp selfies while blurring the background so you do not need to worry about what is happening behind you.
Navigate to and open the Camera app, tap MORE, and then tap PORTRAIT. To take a selfie, tap the Flip Camera icon to the right of the Capture button.
If desired, you can tap the screen to adjust the sliders for Brightness and Intensity. Position your phone so your face is in focus, and then tap the Capture button.
Single take on your Galaxy A52 5G will grab photos and video clips using the camera’s AI. It incorporates several functions at once, including Best Shot, Ultra-wide Shots, Live Focus, Filter, and Smart Crop. The videos will use motion photo, bounce and reverse, and Hyperlapse.
Navigate to and open the Camera app, and then tap SINGLE TAKE. Get your shot ready by positioning your phone, and then tap the Capture button.
Follow the directions on the screen while recording your shots. To stop the recording early, tap the Capture button again.
Select the Gallery thumbnail, and then tap Single take on the bottom left. You will see all your photos and videos. You can tap the Favorite icon (it looks like a heart) to set a shot as your favorite. Touch and hold a thumbnail, and then tap the Best shot icon (it looks like a crown) to set a shot as your best one.
Your Galaxy A52 5G comes with Slow Motion and Super Slow-Mo for recording fast-paced motion, like traffic passing by or your daughter riding a bike. You can slow down the action so you do not miss anything.
Navigate to and open the Camera app, tap MORE, and then tap either SLOW MOTION or SUPER SLOW-MO. Tap the Record button when you are ready. Then, navigate to the video in Gallery and tap your video to watch it.
If you want to capture a time-lapse of a sunrise or a crowd of people, you can use Hyperlapse on your Galaxy A52 5G. It will generate a motion video of your chosen scene.
Navigate to and open the Camera app, and then tap MORE. Tap HYPERLAPSE.
You can speed up or slow down your video by tapping the Auto speed icon in the top right corner. Then, choose from a few different speeds like 16x or 64x.
To brighten your video, tap the Night icon (it looks like a crescent moon) at the top of the screen.
Tap the Record button to begin taking your Hyperlapse video.
Night mode on your Galaxy A52 5G lets you take brightly lit shots during the night or in dark areas. The camera’s sensors will pull in extra light so your shots come out as clear as possible.

Bixby Vision on your Galaxy A52 5G will let you shop for items, translate text, and use accessibility options like Scene describer.

On your Galaxy A52 5G, you will have access to tons of entertaining camera filters! That is because Samsung and Snapchat have teamed up to bring you Fun mode, where Snapchat effects are integrated right into the phone itself. And unlike the regular Snapchat app, Fun mode supports Galaxy phone’s Ultra wide lens, so you can get more in the shot while still applying silly filters.
Open the Camera app, and swipe right until you have reached FUN. Decide if you want to use the Selfie camera or the rear camera. You can alternate between them by tapping the Switch Camera icon.
Note: The filter and lens options will be the same no matter which camera you use.
Choose your preferred lens or picture option:
- If you are using the Selfie camera, choose between the Regular selfie option (the icon with 1 person) or the Wide selfie option (the icon with 2 people).
- If you are using the rear camera, choose between the Main lens (the icon with 2 trees) or the Ultra wide lens (the icon with 3 trees).
Swipe to the right or left to view the available filters. To see even more filters, tap the magnifying glass icon. When you find one you like, tap the filter. It will be applied to your camera’s viewfinder, and its name will appear at the top of the screen.
Finally, pose for the camera!
- To take a picture, tap the filter’s icon.
- To record a video, touch and hold the filter’s icon.
When you are finished, the photo or video will appear in your phone’s Gallery app.
Note: If you want to access the Snapchat app quickly, tap the magnifying glass icon, swipe down to the bottom of the page, and tap See more in Snapchat to be taken to the app.
