Play with Project xCloud and an Xbox controller on your Galaxy phone
Microsoft is coming out with a new gaming service this fall, and it will be compatible with Galaxy phones. The new Project xCloud will offer console-quality games that you can enjoy right on your mobile device. Choose from over 100 Xbox titles that will stream directly to your phone, and connect an Xbox controller so you can play anytime, anywhere (internet connection and subscription are required). The service will feature improved latency when using an Xbox controller and will stream at 720p at 60 frames per second. Just make sure you have the Xbox Game Streaming app. Once you do, you’ll be able to start that new RPG or adventure game whenever you like.
Note: Information provided applies to devices sold in Canada. Available screens and settings may vary for smartphones sold in other countries. Project xCloud preview is currently only available to select Xbox Insiders. Microsoft has announced that Project xCloud will launch September 15, 2020.
In order to fully enjoy your games, you can connect an Xbox or Xbox-compatible Bluetooth controller to your phone. If you prefer to dock your phone when using a controller, you can attach a controller clip accessory.
