Monitor your sleep with the Galaxy Ring

Securing a good night's sleep is essential for maintaining optimal health, and the Galaxy Ring is designed to enhance your sleep quality. This innovative device not only tracks your sleep patterns but also monitors your blood oxygen levels and skin temperature. The collected data is seamlessly integrated into the Galaxy Wearable and Samsung Health apps on your phone, providing you with insightful feedback. To begin, ensure your Galaxy Ring is properly connected to the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.

The Galaxy Ring tracks your sleep patterns by monitoring your heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and skin temperature throughout the night.

1 Open the Galaxy Wearable app: On your phone, navigate to and launch the Galaxy Wearable app, then select the Sleep option from the menu.

2 Access advanced settings: Tap the More options icon (the three vertical dots) at the top right, and then select Advanced measurement from the dropdown menu.

3 Enable advanced tracking: Tap the switches next to “Blood oxygen” and “Skin temperature during sleep” to activate these features. By enabling these options, your Galaxy Ring will incorporate blood oxygen levels and skin temperature into its sleep tracking analysis.

Note: You can track your sleep without activating the blood oxygen and skin temperature options if preferred.

4 Wear the ring overnight: Ensure you wear the Galaxy Ring while sleeping. The next day, reopen the Galaxy Wearable app.
5 Review your sleep data: Tap Sleep to access your recorded sleep information, including details like total sleep time.
6 Add sleep records manually: Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap on Add sleep record or Enter data to manually input additional sleep details.

7 Save your sleep data: Input your sleep time and then tap Save to record the details in the app.

Note: The Samsung Health app also monitors for abnormal signs during sleep, such as sleep apnea, helping to ensure that you maintain optimal health and receive the proper rest.

The snore detection feature automatically measures and records your snoring patterns while you sleep.

1 Open the Galaxy Wearable app: On your phone, navigate to and launch the Galaxy Wearable app, then select the Sleep option from the menu.
2 Access advanced settings: Tap the More options icon (the three vertical dots) at the top right, and then select Advanced measurement from the dropdown menu.
3 Enable snore detection: Tap on Snore detection, and then activate the feature by tapping the switch at the top.

4 Set snoring detection frequency: Select either Always or Once under “Detect snoring” to specify how frequently the app should monitor for snoring.

5 Record snoring audio: If you wish to record your snoring, tap the switch next to “Record audio” to enable this feature.

6 Set audio deletion schedule: Choose the desired time frame under “Delete audio recordings after” to specify when your snoring recordings should be automatically deleted.
7 Wear the ring and review data: Ensure you wear the Galaxy Ring during sleep. The next day, reopen the Galaxy Wearable app, tap Sleep, and view your detailed sleep data.
