Tracking workouts with your Galaxy Ring

The Galaxy Ring transforms everyday wellness management into a seamless experience. This compact device not only monitors your heart rate and recognizes various workout types automatically, but it also promotes healthier lifestyle choices. To get started, ensure that your Galaxy Ring is properly synced with the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone, unlocking the full potential of your fitness journey.

If you wear the Galaxy Ring continuously, it will automatically recognize specific exercises and log your fitness data. This includes identifying the type of exercise, recording the duration of your workout, and calculating calories burned.

1 To view the exercises supported by the feature, open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone, then tap on Health settings.

2 Tap Activities to detect. Enable the “Auto detect workouts” feature by turning it on, then activate your preferred exercise types by tapping their corresponding switches.

3 You can view your recorded data in the Samsung Health app.

The Galaxy Ring not only measures and records your heart rate automatically but also allows for manual heart rate measurements whenever you need them.

1 To view automatic heart rate measurements, open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone and tap Heart Rate.

2 To manually take a measurement, tap Measure at the bottom of the screen.

3 Allow the Galaxy Ring to complete the heart rate measurement. Once it's done, select your current status and tap Save to record the measurement. You can access and review this data in the Samsung Health app.

4 You can also set heart rate alerts. From the Heart rate screen, tap the More options icon (the three vertical dots), then tap Advanced measurement.

5 Under 'Heart Rate Alert', set the range by adjusting the High HR and Low HR values. Once enabled, if your heart rate remains higher or lower than your set resting rate for more than ten minutes, the Samsung Health app will send you an alert.

Your personal Energy score is derived from a comprehensive analysis of your daily sleep, activity, and heart rate data, offering guidance for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

To view your Energy score, open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone and tap Energy score.

This score provides a daily rating to indicate whether you are well-rested, along with factors such as average sleep time. For more detailed insights, you can also access your Energy score details in the Samsung Health app.
