      • What is the Samsung Appliance Trade-Up Program?

        The Samsung Appliance Trade-Up Program allows customers purchasing a new Appliance to trade-up their old Appliance and receive a promotional trade-up credit toward the purchase of their new Appliance. Click here for the Samsung Appliance Trade-Up Program Terms and Conditions.
      • When you purchase a new Samsung Appliance through https://117.p.syniva.es/ca (“New Appliance”) and decide to trade-up your used Appliance (“Old Appliance”), we will provide you with a Promotional Trade-Up credit. Once you’ve selected the trade-up option, the promotional Trade-Up Credit will be applied to the purchase price of your New Appliance at time of checkout. Before the shipment of your New Appliance, we’ll send you a reminder to prepare your Old Appliance for pickup. The pickup of the Old Appliance would be done at the same time as the delivery of your New Appliance.
      • No – you should only make the Old Appliance available for pick up, and if you no longer need any of the accompanying Old Appliance accessories, you can discard the accessories in accordance with your local recycling regulations. You will not get any additional credits for returning packaging or accessories.
      • The pickup of the Old Appliance will be done at the time of delivery of your New Appliance. If your Old Appliance is not ready or present at the time of delivery of your New Appliance, we will be unable to deliver your New Appliance to you. You will be asked to contact Samsung Customer Service to re-schedule the delivery of your New Appliance once your Old Appliance is ready for pickup. Please note, a delivery re-attempt charge will be applied by Samsung.
      • If you are refusing the delivery of your New Appliance for any reason, we will be unable to pick up your Old Appliance. Please contact Samsung Customer Service so we can guide you with the next steps.
      • The Old Appliance will be transported to an appropriate facility and disposed of in accordance with the recycling regulations.
      • When you hand over your Old Appliance to us, your Old Appliance will be disposed of in accordance with the recycling regulations and cannot be returned to you for any reason.
      • In the event that you decide, after you purchase your New Appliance, but prior to the delivery of your New Appliance, that you don't want to trade-up your Old Appliance, then Samsung will charge you for the amount of the Promotional Trade-Up Credit (plus applicable taxes) that was applied to your order for your New Appliance. We would need to use the same payment method that you used when you completed your initial order of your New Appliance. Please contact Samsung Customer Service to update your order. In the event that you decide that you don't want to trade-up your Old Appliance at the time of delivery of your New Appliance, then we will be unable to deliver your New Appliance to you until your order is updated. You will be asked to contact Samsung Customer Service to update your order. Samsung will charge you for the amount of the Promotional Trade-Up Credit (plus applicable taxes) that was applied to your order for your New Appliance and re-schedule the delivery of your New Appliance. Please note, a delivery re-attempt charge will be applied by Samsung.
      • In the event you wish to return your New Appliance, then our regular return policy applies (available here). In the event you return your New Appliance, your Old Appliance will not be returned to you for any reason and no compensation will be provided for your Old Appliance.

      Complete the purchase of any  Samsung Branded refrigerator, range, dishwasher, washer, dryer, Laundry Hub, Laundry Combo, wall oven, cooktop, and range hood (each an “Eligible Samsung Product”) and complete the trade-in of your old appliance (“Eligible Trade-In Product”) to unlock the following discounts of the regular pre-tax price of a single Eligible Samsung Product: Complete one of the following during the Offer Period:

      -          $75 (before tax) if you purchase any Eligible Samsung Product(s) at or above $600 before tax.

      -          $150 (before tax) if you purchase any Eligible Samsung Product(s) at or above $1,200 and below $2,000 before tax.

      -          $300 (before tax) if you purchase any Eligible Samsung Product(s) at or above $2,000 and below $3,000 before tax.

      If the trade-in TV is a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) TV it can be any make, any model, any manufacturer, any brand, any size and any condition provided that it is owned by the customer.

Two or more Eligible Trade-In TVs Products cannot be combined towards a higher instant rebate. Cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions except where expressly permitted.       If you return your Eligible Samsung TV Product mentioned above, you will no longer be entitled to the Trade in Rebate, and you will only be refunded the amount paid at the time of purchase.       1.      INTENDED AUDIENCE USE: The purpose of this Program is to provide to you with a promotional trade-up credit for your used TV, used Monitor, or used Home Appliance product when you purchase a new Samsung TV, new Samsung Monitor, or new Samsung Home Appliance product as applicable, online at samsung.com/ca. Samsung Electronics Canada Inc. (“Samsung”) provides this credit to you, a Consumer in Canada (“Consumer”, “you” or “your”) in connection with the Program. Your participation in the Program is subject to these Terms and Conditions of Use, as they may be amended from time to time.

      ·         New TV Product: New TV Product is a Samsung TV that is available on samsung.com/ca and purchased by the Customer, to be delivered to the Customer’s address in Canada. Only certain Samsung TV SKUs , as set out in  Promotional Terms and Conditions published by Samsung from time to time, will be eligible for the Program.

      ·         Old Home Appliance Product: Old Home Appliance Product is a Home Appliance Product that the Customer provides as part of this Program and that Samsung or its third party service provider picks up from the Customer for the purpose of participating in the Program. An Old Home Appliance Product would not have any inherent value and would be considered as a zero value item. Old Home Appliance Product would be recycled for parts by Samsung or its third party partners.

      ·         Old Monitor Product: Old Monitor Product is a Monitor Product that the Customer provides as part of this Program and that Samsung or its third party service provider picks up from the Customer for the purpose of participating in the Program. An Old Monitor Product would not have any inherent value and would be considered as a zero value item. An Old Monitor Product would be recycled for parts by Samsung or its third party partners.

      ·         Old TV Product: Old TV Product is a TV that the Customer provides as part of this Program and that Samsung or its third party service provider picks up from the Customer for the purpose of participating in the Program. An Old TV would not have any inherent value and would be considered as a zero value item. An Old TV would be recycled for parts by Samsung or its third party partners.    

      ·         Promotional Trade-up Credit: Promotional Trade-up Credit consists of any credits offered to you, the Customer, as an incentive for participating in the Program at the time of checkout

      2.      ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS: You acknowledge and agree that to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither Samsung nor its third-party service provider, shall have any legal, equitable or other liability of any kind to you as it relates to your voluntary participation in this Program.

      Further, you acknowledge you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation Canada export and re-export control laws and regulations regarding the transmission of technical data exported from Canada. By your participation in the Program, you agree to each of the terms and conditions set forth. You further agree to comply with all local laws, regulations and rules regarding online conduct and acceptable Content (as defined herein). You represent you have the legal authority to accept these Terms and Conditions of Use on behalf of yourself or any party you represent. If you do not agree to these terms, you will be prohibited from participating in the Program.

      3.      SCOPE AND EFFECTIVE DATE OF TERMS OF USE: These Terms and Conditions of Use apply to your use of the Site and your participation in the Program.

      5.      ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN PROGRAM:

      In order to participate in the Program, you must be an individual consumer in Canada, and have an Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, to trade-up and purchase a New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or a New Home Appliance Product, respectively, on 117.p.syniva.es/ca. In the event that you purchase a New TV Product, you may trade-up one (1) Old TV Product, for each New TV Product you purchase. In the event that you purchase a New Monitor Product, you may trade-up one (1) Old Monitor Product, for each New Monitor Product you purchase. In the event that you purchase a New Home Appliance Product, you may trade-up one (1) Old Home Appliance Product belonging to the same product category as the New Home Appliance Product you purchase (e.g. one Old fridge for a New fridge). The Program is open only to legal residents of Canada. You must be the age of majority or older in the province or territory in which you reside in order to participate. The Program is not valid for stolen property or property that does not belong to the Consumer. Old TV Products, Old Monitor Products, and Old Home Appliance Products, as applicable, being traded-up would have no inherent value and would be recycled by Samsung. The Site is for the exclusive use by individual consumers and is strictly prohibited for use by wireless dealers or corporate accounts.

      Samsung and/or its third-party provider, as the case may be, have the right to reject any trade-ups where: (i) an Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product is submitted by anyone other than the owner of the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable; or (ii) there appears to be fraudulent intention, including a stolen TV, Monitor, or Home Appliance Product, as applicable, or any other violation of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

      6.      HOW IT WORKS: The Site will display a Promotional Trade-up Credit for participating in the Program. You will receive this credit from Samsung for trading-up your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product and purchasing a New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, respectively, as may be offered from time to time on the Site. The Promotional Trade-up Credit will be applied in the cart at time of purchase of your New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or your New Home Appliance Product as applicable. The Promotional Trade-up Credit has no cash value, is single use only, cannot be split, cannot be carried over, and is non-refundable. One Promotional Trade-up Credit is available for one New TV Product, one New Monitor Product, or one New Home Appliance Product purchased.

      You acknowledge that: (1) you understand you are recycling your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, in consideration for Promotional Trade-up credits towards your purchase of a New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, respectively; (2) the delivery of your New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable, is conditional and would only be completed when the respective Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product is being picked up at the same time; (3) the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, has no inherent value and would be recycled by Samsung and by accepting the Promotional Trade-Up Credits, you are transferring full ownership rights of the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, to Samsung; (4) you understand that the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, will be recycled after pick up and cannot be returned to you under any circumstance; (5) you are responsible for removal of all personal information and any other data on the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product before relinquishment of your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable; (6) you have been advised of any return policy regarding the purchase of your New TV Product, New Monitor Product,  or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable; (7) you are responsible for ensuring that the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, is ready for pick up. Where an Old TV Product is being collected, the Old TV Product must be unplugged, dismounted from any wall mounting or any other stand and all peripheral devices, cables and accessories must be disconnected. Where an Old Monitor Product is being collected, the Old Monitor Product must be unplugged, dismounted from any wall mounting or any other stand and all peripheral devices, cables and accessories must be disconnected. Where an Old Home Appliance Product is being collected, the Old Home Appliance must be disconnected from any power supply, and you need to seek assistance from a professional installer to disconnect any water, hard-wired power, or gas supplies where required, and secure any parts to the unit that may easily open in transit; and (8) you are responsible for ensuring that you retire any outstanding balance on the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, if applicable. The Program may expire or be terminated by Samsung at any time without notice.

      Note: Only the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product would be picked up at the time of delivery of your New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable. Packaging and accessories such as remote controllers, stands cables and any other peripherals and accessories are not required for participating in the Program and will not be picked up by Samsung or its third party service provider. Any packaging, whether original or new, and any accessories that you choose to send with your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product will be disposed of, and cannot be returned to you.

      All trade-up transactions may be subject to a Non-Return Charge as set out in Section 7 of these Terms.

      7.      NON-RETURN CHARGE: You may be subject to charges as follows:

      If your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, is not ready to be picked up at the time of delivery of the respective New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product for any reason, Samsung reserves the right to refuse the delivery of the respective New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product. A Samsung Customer Service Representative will contact you to find out if your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product is ready for pick up.

      -          If the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, is ready for pick-up, Samsung or its third party service provider will re-attempt the delivery of the respective New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, respectively, and pick up of the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable. You will be charged delivery re-attempt charges.

      -          If the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, is not ready for pick up or you wish to keep the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, but still want the respective New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, then Samsung or its third party service provider will re-attempt the delivery of the respective New TV Product, New Monitor Product,  or New Home Appliance Product. You will be charged the full amount of all applicable Promotional Trade-up Credits that were applied to the purchase of the New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable, and delivery re-attempt charges.

      -          In case of non-payment or your method of payment cannot be charged in accordance with the points set out above, Samsung reserves the right to cancel the order of the New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable. Customer will receive a refund in full to their original payment method.

      -          If Customer’s original payment method is no longer valid, Customer agrees that they will provide Samsung with an alternate payment method for the applicable charge promptly upon request.

      8.      RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST IN THE OLD TV OR OLD HOME APPLIANCE PRODUCT: You must verify that you own the right, title, and interest in the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, traded-in as part of the Program.

      9.      RETURN OF OLD TV OR OLD HOME APPLIANCE PRODUCT: Once your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, has been picked up, this transaction is considered final and cannot be cancelled, and the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, will not be returned to you. There will be no substitutes or replacements provided. If you return your New TV Product, New Monitor Product,  or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable, in accordance with the Samsung return policy and you have already handed over your respective Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product as part of this Program, the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, will not be returned to you, nor will you be eligible for any monetary compensation or Promotional Trade-Up Credit.

      10.  REMOVAL OF PERSONAL DATA FROM THE OLD TV PRODUCT, OLD MONITOR PRODUCT, OR OLD HOME APPLIANCE PRODUCT: You are required to remove any personal data and other information from your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable. Samsung is not responsible for any personal data remaining on the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, in breach of your obligation to have such personal data removed or any other information loss once your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, has been picked up by Samsung or its third party service provider, as the case may be.

      All accounts must be removed or turned off including but not limited to: TV services, Online streaming services, Samsung Knox, Samsung Account, and Google Account.

      11.  ACCURACY AND REVISIONS TO CONTENT: Samsung may modify, suspend, withdraw or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Content, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. You agree that Samsung shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, withdrawal or discontinuance of the Content. These Terms and Conditions of Use may be revised at any time by updating this posting. By using the Site, you agree to be bound by any such revisions and you agree to periodically visit this page to determine the then current Terms and Conditions of Use to which you are bound.

The Promotional Trade-up Credit will be applied in the cart at time of purchase of your New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or your New Home Appliance Product as applicable. The Promotional Trade-up Credit has no cash value, is single use only, cannot be split, cannot be carried over, and is non-refundable. One Promotional Trade-up Credit is available for one New TV Product, one New Monitor Product, or one New Home Appliance Product purchased.

      You acknowledge that: (1) you understand you are recycling your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, in consideration for Promotional Trade-up credits towards your purchase of a New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, respectively; (2) the delivery of your New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable, is conditional and would only be completed when the respective Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product is being picked up at the same time; (3) the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, has no inherent value and would be recycled by Samsung and by accepting the Promotional Trade-Up Credits, you are transferring full ownership rights of the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, to Samsung; (4) you understand that the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, will be recycled after pick up and cannot be returned to you under any circumstance; (5) you are responsible for removal of all personal information and any other data on the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product before relinquishment of your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable; (6) you have been advised of any return policy regarding the purchase of your New TV Product, New Monitor Product,  or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable; (7) you are responsible for ensuring that the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, is ready for pick up. Where an Old TV Product is being collected, the Old TV Product must be unplugged, dismounted from any wall mounting or any other stand and all peripheral devices, cables and accessories must be disconnected. Where an Old Monitor Product is being collected, the Old Monitor Product must be unplugged, dismounted from any wall mounting or any other stand and all peripheral devices, cables and accessories must be disconnected. Where an Old Home Appliance Product is being collected, the Old Home Appliance must be disconnected from any power supply, and you need to seek assistance from a professional installer to disconnect any water, hard-wired power, or gas supplies where required, and secure any parts to the unit that may easily open in transit; and (8) you are responsible for ensuring that you retire any outstanding balance on the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, if applicable. The Program may expire or be terminated by Samsung at any time without notice.

      Note: Only the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product would be picked up at the time of delivery of your New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable. Packaging and accessories such as remote controllers, stands cables and any other peripherals and accessories are not required for participating in the Program and will not be picked up by Samsung or its third party service provider. Any packaging, whether original or new, and any accessories that you choose to send with your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product will be disposed of, and cannot be returned to you.

      All trade-up transactions may be subject to a Non-Return Charge as set out in Section 7 of these Terms.

      7.      NON-RETURN CHARGE: You may be subject to charges as follows:

      If your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, is not ready to be picked up at the time of delivery of the respective New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product for any reason, Samsung reserves the right to refuse the delivery of the respective New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product. A Samsung Customer Service Representative will contact you to find out if your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product is ready for pick up.

      -          If the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, is ready for pick-up, Samsung or its third party service provider will re-attempt the delivery of the respective New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, respectively, and pick up of the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable. You will be charged delivery re-attempt charges.

      -          If the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, is not ready for pick up or you wish to keep the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, but still want the respective New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, then Samsung or its third party service provider will re-attempt the delivery of the respective New TV Product, New Monitor Product,  or New Home Appliance Product. You will be charged the full amount of all applicable Promotional Trade-up Credits that were applied to the purchase of the New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable, and delivery re-attempt charges.

      -          In case of non-payment or your method of payment cannot be charged in accordance with the points set out above, Samsung reserves the right to cancel the order of the New TV Product, New Monitor Product, or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable. Customer will receive a refund in full to their original payment method.

      -          If Customer’s original payment method is no longer valid, Customer agrees that they will provide Samsung with an alternate payment method for the applicable charge promptly upon request.

      8.      RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST IN THE OLD TV OR OLD HOME APPLIANCE PRODUCT: You must verify that you own the right, title, and interest in the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, traded-in as part of the Program.

      9.      RETURN OF OLD TV OR OLD HOME APPLIANCE PRODUCT: Once your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, has been picked up, this transaction is considered final and cannot be cancelled, and the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, will not be returned to you. There will be no substitutes or replacements provided. If you return your New TV Product, New Monitor Product,  or New Home Appliance Product, as applicable, in accordance with the Samsung return policy and you have already handed over your respective Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product as part of this Program, the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, will not be returned to you, nor will you be eligible for any monetary compensation or Promotional Trade-Up Credit.

      10.  REMOVAL OF PERSONAL DATA FROM THE OLD TV PRODUCT, OLD MONITOR PRODUCT, OR OLD HOME APPLIANCE PRODUCT: You are required to remove any personal data and other information from your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable. Samsung is not responsible for any personal data remaining on the Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, in breach of your obligation to have such personal data removed or any other information loss once your Old TV Product, Old Monitor Product, or Old Home Appliance Product, as applicable, has been picked up by Samsung or its third party service provider, as the case may be.

      All accounts must be removed or turned off including but not limited to: TV services, Online streaming services, Samsung Knox, Samsung Account, and Google Account.

      11.  ACCURACY AND REVISIONS TO CONTENT: Samsung may modify, suspend, withdraw or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Content, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. You agree that Samsung shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, withdrawal or discontinuance of the Content. These Terms and Conditions of Use may be revised at any time by updating this posting. By using the Site, you agree to be bound by any such revisions and you agree to periodically visit this page to determine the then current Terms and Conditions of Use to which you are bound.
