How do I pair and setup my galaxy buds?

Galaxy Buds are wireless earbuds that allow you to listen to music and answer calls no matter what you're doing. Once your Galaxy Buds have been set up and paired, all you need to do is open the charging case and your devices will automatically connect.

Please note: Galaxy Buds are not designed for use in high traffic areas. Doing so may result in accidents due to reduced reaction times.

Getting the right fit

To get the best sound and listening experience from your Galaxy Buds, you will need to select the right sized ear tips and wing tips for your ears.

  • Do not pull at the ear tips or wings excessively when they are being attached or detached as they may tear.
  • Do not put the earbuds in your ears without ear tips and wing tips. Doing so may hurt your ears.
  • Do not press the ear tip or wing excessively or twist it, at they may be damaged.

For the best sound quality and regular functioning, it is very important to place the Galaxy Buds Pro perfectly in your ears. If you don't wear the earbuds properly, they may not work, or sound quality may be poor.

1 Check the direction of the earbuds and put them in your ears with the wing tip facing upwards
2 Rotate the earbuds left or right until the wing tips sit comfortably inside your ears

  • Make sure that there isn't anything between the earbuds and connected device. This includes human bodies, walls, corners and fences.
  • Do not touch the Bluetooth antenna of a connected device.

Tips for poor audio issues

If the device has been exposed to water or moisture, sound may not be heard clearly because water may get inside the earbuds during exposure underwater.

If the device gets wet, please dry it thoroughly by wiping it with a clean, soft cloth and shake gently to remove the water from the devices.

It is recommended that your Buds and connected device are within an arm's reach. If not, you may find that sound does not play smoothly and occasionally disconnects.

Check if similar issues appear when using other wireless devices in the same location, and that these issues disappear when moved elsewhere.

You may experience drops in volume or noise depending on the connected device's volume. To avoid this, adjust the connected device's sound appropriately.

Find out more about how to improve the audio quality of your Galaxy Buds, including how to adjust the volume level.

If earwax or debris builds up in the speaker, the volume may be lower than it should be at the current setting and audio quality may be degraded. Remove any earwax or debris with a clean, dry, and soft brush, or cotton swab.

Before cleaning the speaker, detach the ear tip from the latch at the bottom of the earbud.

Tips:

  • Do not use anything sharp or use excessive force while removing earwax or debris, as the speaker and the air duct may be damaged.
  • Keep the earbuds dry. Prevent liquid from contacting or entering the earbuds.
  • Clean the earbuds regularly to prevent earwax or debris from building up in the speaker and the air duct.
