How to use the Amazon Prime Video app on Samsung TV
All current Samsung TVs come with the Amazon Prime Video app pre-installed. This means that you don’t have to download or install anything to use it.
To open Amazon Prime Video, simply open Smart Hub and select the Prime Video app icon.
Please note: You will need to sign into your Amazon account to access content.
Why can’t I find the Amazon Prime Video app?
There are several reasons that you may no longer be able to see the Amazon Prime Video app:
- Each year the Samsung Smart TV platform is updated, and Amazon may have removed support for the particular Smart Platform used by your TV. For up to date information on Samsung Smart TVs supported by Amazon Prime Video, please contact Amazon
- The app may have been hidden from the Quick Access bar. To return the icon to the Quick Access bar:

Press the Home button on your remote

Navigate to and select Apps

Navigate to Downloaded apps

To add the selected app to the Quick Access bar, press and hold Enter until the dropdown menu appears

Select Add to home
