How to wear ear buds?Note: Before using your earbuds for the first time, charge them in their charging case. Do not insert the earbuds in your ears without earbud tips or wingtips because it may harm your ears.
Before wearing your Galaxy Buds, make sure the earbud tips are attached. Wearing your earbuds properly will ensure they remain comfortable when you’re listening to your favorite content.
• Hold the earbud with the microphone and earbud tip facing downward, and the L or R on the top. Insert the earbud so it follows the direction of your ear canal.
Note: On the Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds2 Pro, the L and R will be located near the part that is being inserted.
• Put the earbud labeled L into your left ear and the earbud labeled R into your right ear for the best fit and sound quality.
• You can adjust the earbuds by rotating them to the left or right to fit your ears.
• If the earbud tips do not fit comfortably, you can try a different size to get a tighter seal. This will improve the microphone’s performance and provide a stronger sound.
• With the Buds2 and Buds2 Pro, you can use the Earbud fit test to make sure you’re wearing them correctly. From the Galaxy Wearable app, tap Earbuds settings, and then tap Earbud fit test. Put the earbuds in your ears and then tap Start to begin the test.
• Regularly clean your earbuds to keep them in the best condition possible, especially if you use them often.
• Remove the earbuds periodically and dry your ears to prevent excess moisture developing inside of the ear during use.
• The proximity sensor will automatically detect that you are wearing the earbuds when you put them on. Once this happens, they will turn on and emit a beep. If the proximity sensor does not make contact with your ear, the earbud may not work. -
How to charge ear buds?Before using your Samsung Galaxy Buds for the first time; or when it hasn't been used for an extended period of time, we recommend that you charge the Galaxy Buds fully.
The earbuds will power on while charging. When the battery is completely discharged, it needs to be charged for at least 10 minutes before it can start to work.
Check the direction of each earbud, insert them into the corresponding slots, and then connect the charger. The charging case, which has a built-in battery of 252 mAh, is charged along with the earbuds.
You can charge the earbuds by placing them into the charging case without connecting it to an electric socket.
• Charge the battery with a USB cable.
o Open the charging case.
o Check the direction of each earbud and correctly insert them into their corresponding slots in the charging case.
o Close the charging case.
o Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to the charging case and plug the USB cable into a charger port.
o Plug the charger into an electric socket.
o The batteries of the earbuds and the charging case are charged simultaneously.
o After fully charging, disconnect the charging case from the charger. First, unplug the USB cable from the charging case and then unplug the charger from the electric socket.
• Charge the battery with a wireless charger.
o The charging case has a built-in wireless charging coil. You can charge the battery by using a wireless charger or another device that functions as a wireless charger.
o Open the charging case.
o Check the direction of each earbud and correctly insert them into their corresponding slots in the charging case.
o Close the charging case.
o Place the center of the charging case on the center of the wireless charger.
• Charge the battery with a mobile device.
If you have the device that functions as a wireless charger, you can charge the battery using the PowerShare feature.
o Open the charging case.
o Check the direction of each earbud and correctly insert them into their corresponding slots in the charging case.
o Close the charging case.
o On the Mobile Device Quick Panel, turn on Wireless PowerShare.
o With your earbuds in the charging case, place the case against the center back of your Mobile Device.
o After fully charging, disconnect the charging case from the device. -
What are ear buds?Earbuds are typically made of a hard plastic material that fits inside the ear, just outside of the ear canal.

How to find lost ear buds?Learn how to use Find my Earbuds when you've misplaced your Galaxy Buds.
In order to use this setting, your buds MUST be connected to your mobile device using the Galaxy Wearable app. The Galaxy Buds must also be within Bluetooth range to successfully locate them. Unfortunately if you have misplaced them while they are in the case, you will not be able to use this setting.
• Head into the Galaxy wearable app icon Galaxy Wearable app.
• Tap on Find My Earbuds.
• Tap on search icon to start locating your Buds.
• Your Buds should start beeping.
• Once you've found your buds tap on stop ringing icon to stop the ringing.
• If you have found one of your missing Buds, you can tap on mute icon under that specific Bud to mute the sound. Unfortunately if one Bud displays disconnected icon this means that either the Bud isn't within its Bluetooth range or its battery may be drained. If this icon is displayed under a Bud, you will not be able to use Find my Buds setting to locate the missing Bud. -
How to reset Samsung ear buds?Note: When paired to an iPhone, the Galaxy Buds+ and Galaxy Buds Live can be reset with the Buds app on an iPhone 7 or later with iOS 10 or higher. Only the Gear IconX has a physical Power/Restart button that can be used to reset the Gear IconX. Factory resetting the Gear IconX deletes all music stored in the earbuds.
• Manually restart your Samsung earbuds.
Insert the earbuds into the charging case and close the lid. Wait at least seven seconds, and then remove the earbuds. They will restart and automatically reconnect to your device.
• Open the Galaxy Wearable app.
Navigate to and open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone. Make sure both earbuds are connected to the app. Test your Buds for normal operation. If you continue to have issues, go to the next step.
Note: Performing a factory reset will return earbuds to their default setting.
• Factory reset your Samsung earbuds.
• Galaxy Buds+, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Buds Pro, and Galaxy Buds2: Tap Earbud settings, then tap Reset, and then tap Reset again to confirm.
• Galaxy Buds: Tap About earbuds. Tap Reset earbuds, and then tap Reset again to confirm.

If you are still having issues with your earbuds, please visit a Samsung walk-in service centre, or you can schedule a repair service online. -
How to pair Samsung Buds?On an Android device, the SmartThings and Galaxy Wearable apps make it quick and easy to connect your devices. On other devices you will need to pair your Galaxy Buds manually. Once your devices are paired they will remember the connection and connect automatically the next time they are used.
• Connecting to a Samsung device
o Place the earbuds into their corresponding slots in the charging case.
o Close the charging case.
o Open the charging case.
The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode and a pop-up window will appear on your device.
o Tap Connect on the pop up window.
o Follow the on-screen instructions to finish connecting.
Once your Galaxy Buds have been connected, they will automatically try and connect to your device every time you open the charging case while the earbuds are inside.
• Connecting to a non-Samsung Android device.
o Open the Play Store and install the Galaxy Wearable app.
o Place the earbuds into their corresponding slots in the charging case.
o Close the charging case.
o Open the charging case.
The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
o Open the Galaxy Wearable app and follow the on-screen instructions to finish connecting.
• Manually connecting Galaxy Buds.
o Put your Galaxy buds in your ears.
o Tap and hold both earbuds' touchpads. The earbuds will enter Bluetooth pairing mode and you will hear a sound.
o Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and pair your Galaxy Buds as a new device. -
How to connect Galaxy Buds to laptop?• Place your earbuds in the case and close the lid.
• Open the case to enter pairing mode.
• On your PC, under Bluetooth settings, click Add device and then Bluetooth.
• Choose your Galaxy Buds from the list.
• If your earbuds are paired with another device, hold down both touch pads until pairing mode begins.
• If your earbuds don’t connect, it could be because of other connections.
• Disconnect, un-pair, or temporarily disable Bluetooth on the old device and try again.
Once you’re connected, your Galaxy Buds are ready to work in tandem with your PC.
