The correct location and way for installation of an air conditioner

For the Outdoor unit:

• A place where the unit is not exposed to strong wind.

• It should be a place where there is no chances of direct sunlight and rain.

• A solid wall which prevents vibration  and is strong enough to hold the outdoor unit weight.

• A place where there is no plants(especially climbing plants) and small animals cannot access.

For the Indoor unit:

• A place where the airflow is not blocked.

• A place where cool air can be distributed throughout the room.

• The indoor unit should be installed at a place where there is no sunlight.

• It should be far from electronics equipment's such as TV, Radio in order to prevent the wave interference in the remote controller of your air conditioner .

Choosing the height and distance of the indoor and outdoor units from the ground and wall facings :

• Please see the above mentioned diagram to get the exact idea of the installation standards.

• A special care should be taken to install the outdoor unit such that it faces the atmospheric surroundings.

• The Indoor unit that is installed inside the room should always be at a greater height from the outdoor unit.

• The length of the pipe that connects indoor and outdoor unit should be at least 3 meters.

• The height difference between the indoor and outdoor unit from the ground depends on the length of the pipe used.
