Galaxy Watch 6/6 Classic compass is not working properly, is not accurate, issue
Cause: If there’s magnetic material such as a wireless charger, or metal strap containing a magnetic part near the Watch series device, or using indoor circumstances such as densely built-up cities, inside buildings, limited space, parking lots, or inside cars, it can affect the accuracy of compass sensor on the device because of the magnetic interference. So, the display of the compass on Watch Face may be inaccurate.
Affected Models: Watch 5 & Watch 6
When using the Compass feature (default Watch Face), please make sure to calibrate the compass first to correct the accuracy:
To calibrate the compass on a Samsung Galaxy Watch please follow the steps below:
Step 1. Navigate to and open the Samsung Compass app on your Galaxy Watch.
Step 2. Swipe up to see the menu and tap Calibrate.
Step 3. Follow the onscreen instructions & and shake the wrist wearing the watch
The compass will appear after the calibration
