AI Vision Inside

AI Vision Inside² uses an internal camera³ to identify certain fresh food and helps you register frequently used items⁴ put in or taken out, so the food list can be automatically updated. It also allows you to view the door bins, get recipe ideas and manage the 'Use by date'.

AI Wash & Dry

Wash and dry clothes thoroughly and efficiently. AI Wash & Dry⁵ senses the weight of the laundry and uses the right amount of water and detergent. It also detects the fabric and monitors the level of soiling⁶. It then adjusts the drying process to suit the weight and fabric of your laundry.

AI Pro Cooking¹⁰

Make cooking easy, fun and shareable and enjoy professional results using AI Pro Cooking¹¹’s artificial intelligence (AI). The SmartThings App lets you remotely view the progress of your cooking on the View Inside internal cameras and control the oven. You can also create a time-lapse video of dishes cooking, and share it on social media. By recognizing¹² the ingredients in the oven it recommends recipes and optimises the settings. And it monitors the food to stop it being over or undercooked.

  1. AI-based features are available on certain appliances, and based on our deep learning model, which is trained using a predefined set of data and may yield incomplete or incorrect information. New datasets may be introduced to our learning model from time to time to enhanced its accuracy.

  3. A red light will turn on when camera is working. The user’s appearance can be captured, but surroundings other than the food item will be automatically blurred.
  4. As of March 2024, AI Vision Inside can recognize 33 food items like fresh fruits and veggies. If the food is not recognizable, it may be listed as unknown item. AI Vision Inside cannot identify or list any food items in the fridge door bins or freezer. It recognizes food items based on deep learning models, which may be updated periodically to improve accuracy. User may need to manually operate the list for accuracy. The SmartThings App is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. You must use a same log-in account between the devices.

  6. A turbidity sensor operates for all weights, while fabric sensing operates for 8lbs and under. Actual results may vary depending on individual use. To prevent wear, wash like fabrics together.

The updated functions of AI Cleaning Mode 2.0 can be activated after registering the stick vacuum cleaner on the SmartThings App. The operation of AI Cleaning mode 2.0 may be limited in certain environments, such as when the All-in-one Clean Station is unplugged or WiFi connection is unstable or the Bluetooth connection status between the stick vacuum cleaner and the All-in-one Clean Station is unstable. In such cases, it operates in AI Cleaning mode 1.0. If AI Cleaning mode 2.0 does not work frequently, please move the All-in-one Clean Station to a space without obstacles nearby. To enable continuous function updates, keep the Wi-Fi in the house on at all times.
