Samsung Galaxy Buds - Cleaning the earbuds
Please note, this section is designed to give you basic product troubleshooting information, also refer to your user manual for more information.
We recommend cleaning the earbuds periodically when used for extended periods of time or if there is low or poor audio quality. If dust, earwax, or other debris accumulate in your Galaxy Buds, it can make audio sound muffled and prevent the earbuds from charging correctly.
Please Note: Available screens and settings may vary by provider, phone, or earbuds.
- Clean the inside of each ear before wearing the earbuds. Clean the touch sensitivity sensor, charging contacts, and earbuds before placing them in the charging case.
- Wear and use the earbuds in dry conditions. When sweat or liquid is on the touch sensitivity sensor or charging contacts, dry them thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth to prevent build up or corrosion.
- After using the earbuds, wipe inside the touch sensitivity sensor and ear tip with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust, earwax, or oil from the mesh part of each earbud receiver. There may be no audio output, or low or poor audio quality if debris and foreign materials build up on the touch sensitivity sensor, or in ear tip or on the mesh.
Do not hold the earbuds upright, and do not use liquids like alcohol or soapy water when cleaning them to prevent debris or liquids from falling inside them.
