Gear Fit2 Pro: How to reset the Gear Fit2 Pro?

If your Gear Fit 2 Pro hangs or freezes you may need to close the open application or restart the device. This can be performed by the steps below.
If the Gear Fit 2 Pro has frozen and is now unresponsive you will need to force reset the device. Do this by pressing and holding down the Power key for atleast 7 seconds, you will notice the device manually restart itself.
If this does not solve the problem (i.e. the device still freezes occasionally after being rebooted, as described above), you may need to perform a factory data reset.
Doing a Factory data reset will erased all the data stored on the Gear memory after the Factory reset. It is recommened that before performing a factory data reset, remember to make backup copies of all important data stored in the device with Samsung Gear or S Health.
To action a Factory Data reset follow the steps below:
- Press the Power Key to open Apps screen
- Select Settings
- Select Gear info
- Tap Reset Gear
