How to apply a protection film to the Galaxy Z Flip5

If you recently acquired a Galaxy Z Flip5 and are thinking about how to strengthen your device’s longevity, think about applying a cover protection film.

To ensure a successful protection film application process, you must make sure your device is prepared.

Step 1. Unfold your Galaxy Z Flip5 and place the main display face down on a soft, flat, non-slip surface. Make sure the phone is in a horizontal position with the cover screen on the left side.

Step 2. Pick up the applicator and remove all of the adhesive protection stickers.

Step 3. Place the applicator beside the bottom left corner of the phone (by the camera lenses) and align them.

Step 4. Then, touch the top tip of the applicator to the side of the phone and rotate the applicator until it is flush and secure against the device.

Step 5. Thoroughly wipe any foreign substances off the screen with the microfibre cleaner.

Step 6. Use the dust remover to dab any remaining dust from the phone screen.

A correctly placed protection film will help increase both the longevity and durability of your device's cover screen.

Step 1. Pick up the protection film and remove the sticker label.

Step 2. Flip the protection film over so that the adhesive side is facing down.

Step 3. Align the holes in the protection film with the camera lenses, camera hole, and the applicator, but do not allow it to touch the cover surface.

Step 4. Press the protection film’s adhesive to ensure a strong bond.

Step 5. Place the provided squeegee at the halfway point of the cover screen, and then bend the top portion of the protection film until the blue protective sheet begins to separate from the clear protection film.

Step 6. Push the squeegee forward to apply the clear protection film while removing the top half of the blue protective sheet.


* Maintain a steady, even pressure to avoid creating any air bubbles.

Step 7. Turn the phone 180 degrees.

Step 8. Detach the blue film from the applicator, and then remove the applicator from the phone.

Step 9. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to apply the second half of the protection film. Then, position the squeegee in the center of the screen by the fold of the device. Apply pressure pushing outwards from the center to the left and right edges, moving from the top to the bottom.

Step 10. Fold the phone closed and remove the protection film’s outer transparent film. Then rub the edges with the microfiber cleaner to eliminate any remaining gaps.

*A line may appear in the center of the screen after attaching the protection film. However, it will disappear after a certain period of time.
