How to setup the GPS location on a Samsung Galaxy Watch

The Galaxy Watch has a GPS sensor so that you can search your real-time location, without connecting to a Mobile Device.

 

When you are using your Galaxy Watch without connecting to a Mobile Device, or using apps such as Alti-Barometer, the GPS sensor in your Galaxy Watch will be active.  

 

If your Galaxy Watch is connected to a Mobile Device,  activate the Mobile Device’s location feature to use the GPS sensor.

 

To select a locating method, scroll down on the screen and select a choice between WiFi, GPS and wireless networks or GPS only. However, please note that GPS and wireless networks are the most accurate. 

 

Follow the steps below to set up the GPS location on your Galaxy Watch: 

 

1 Tap Settings

4 Switch and activate Location
