How to use the Wireless power sharing feature on your Galaxy Device
Samsung provides wireless charging options to keep your devices powered without the need of cables. With features like Wireless power sharing, you can charge compatible phones, smartwatches, or earbuds by placing them on your Galaxy phone. Follow the guide below for setup instructions and further information.
Note: Settings and available features may vary by wireless service provider, software version, and device model.
Activate Wireless power sharing to charge another device using your phone’s battery. Ensure the devices are properly aligned for a stable connection, as coil locations may vary.
Turn on Wireless power sharing
Galaxy devices that support Wireless power sharing:
- Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra and later models.
- Galaxy Z Fold2 / Flip2 and later models.
- Galaxy Watch and later models, except for Galaxy Watch7 / Ultra.
- Galaxy Buds and later models.
Other Galaxy devices that support Wireless power sharing:
- Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge, Galaxy S8 / S8+, Galaxy S9 / S9+
- Galaxy S10e / S10 / S10+ / S10 5G
- Galaxy Gear Sport / Gear S3
- Galaxy Note8 / Note9 / Note10 / Note10+ / Note10+ 5G / Note20 5G / Note20 Ultra 5G
Try these tips to optimise Wireless power sharing:
- Remove any accessories or covers that might obstruct the charging connection.
- Do not move or use either device while charging.
- Do not charge your device sharing power, as it may reduce charging speed or cause issues.
- Make sure the phone sharing power is sufficiently charged.
