Case 1. The device and battery temperature may rise when charging. This is a normal phenomenon and does not affect the device’s lifespan or performance. If the high or low temperatures exceed a certain limit and persist for a long period of time, charging may stop to prevent damage to your device.
Case 2. If The Freestyle is charged without closing running apps, heat may be generated. If your device becomes hot while charging, close any running apps and unplug the battery from the device.
Case 3. Heat may be generated if the USB cable or battery charging terminal is damaged. Please visit your nearest Service Center for professional inspection.
Case 4. Charging the battery in places with high temperatures can add heat and further increase device temperature. Move your battery to a cooler place and try charging again.
If your device’s power suddenly turns off, it may be because your battery needs to be charged or replaced due to aging.
Check. If you use or store your battery outside of appropriate temperatures (0~ 35°C) for a long period of time, battery performance will decrease and your device may suddenly turn off. Try using your device in an environment with appropriate temperatures (0~ 35°C).
Check. Press the Battery level check button to check the remaining battery, and if there is one blinking LED indicator light, please charge the battery.
Check. If the power of your device frequently turns off, please visit your nearest Service Center for professional inspection.
Note: Depending on your device usage frequency and status, the battery life and usage time may differ.
Case 1. If the device is used while charging, the charging time may be increased. For faster charging, stop using your device and leave it to charge.
Case 2. Charging with a USB cable connected to a PC may result in slow charging speeds due to low current. Please use the adapter (EP-TA865) included with your purchase of The Freestyle to charge.
Case 3. It is recommended to charge your battery at room temperature or temperatures ranging from 0~35℃. If the ambient temperature is too high or too low, charging speeds may decrease due to control measures to protect the device.
Case 4. If there is a foreign object or moisture in the charging terminal, charging may be blocked for device protection. Remove the foreign object with a soft brush and try charging again.
Case 5. Charging may be slow if the cable is not properly attached to the charging terminal or charger, if the contact pins have been deformed due to long-term use, if the surface has been corroded by foreign objects, etc. Continuing to charge and use your device in this manner may result in damage or overheating of your device, so please visit your nearest Service Center for professional inspection.
Note: Charging with moisture in the charging terminal may result in corrosion or failure to charge.
Check. Make sure to charge your battery using an authorized cable and adapter that meets battery specifications. Using a non-authorized cable may damage the charging terminal.
Check. Make sure to properly connect your battery. Your device may be damaged if the battery is not properly connected.
Check. To prevent power consumption, please unplug the USB cable from the battery after charging is complete.
- When charging is complete, all of the four LED indicators light up.
Note: Using your battery long-term with the charger connected may be the cause of battery swelling.
Check. To maintain stable battery performance, please store the battery in a dry and cool place.
- The appropriate storage temperature: -20 ℃ to 50 ℃ (-4 ℉ to 122 ℉)
Check. When storing for a long time, store with approximately 50~70% of the remaining charge, and make sure to charge once every 3~6 months.
Check. Ensure that conductive foreign matter (e.g., liquid, dust, metal powder or pencil lead) does not enter the input or output port, as it may cause the port to rust or be damaged, causing explosions or fire.
