[2023] How to use the SmartThings Hub and connect the SmartThings Dongle to your Samsung Smart TV

Last Update date : Jun 24. 2024

You can use the SmartThings Hub feature with various Samsung products to connect IoT devices. Some Samsung products require a separate SmartThings Dongle to connect IoT (Internet of Things) devices using Zigbee or Thread communication protocol. Luckily, connecting the Dongle (VG-STDB10A) to your Samsung Smart TV is simple: just connect it to the USB port on your TV. The SmartThings Hub will be registered automatically.
