Troubleshooting Smart Remote control
There are many reasons that make your remote not work. However, the most common reasons for a TV remote that is not working are battery issues, paring issues, or infrared sensor issues.
Step 1. Turn on your phone camera and position the front of the remote control in the camera's frame.
*For iPhone, it is easier to check by using the front camera.
Step 2. If you see an infrared signal while pressing the power button on the remote control, the remote control transmitter is working. Therefore, it should be a connection or pairing issue. Check if the remote control is paired.
Step 3. If the infrared signal is not visible, charge the remote control through a solar cell or the USB port on the bottom of the remote control or replace the battery.
Step 1. While the TV is on, press the return button and the play/pause button at the same time for 3 seconds or more.
Step 2. The pairing of the TV and the remote control will begin.
Press the Home button on the TV remote control to check Menu → Settings → All Settings → General & Privacy → Power and Energy Saving → Available Remote Battery.
Remote control battery life may vary depending on the frequency of usage.
Note: This function may not be supported depending on the model.
Step 1. On the back of the TV remote control, there is a solar cell that can be used to charge it.
Step 2. When the remote control is not in use, it can be charged through natural or indoor light by placing it with the solar cell facing up.
Step 3. If the remote control does not work due to insufficient battery, connect the USB cable to the bottom of the remote control and charge it before use.
Step 4. When charging through the solar cell, do not place the remote control in the gap between the sofa or under the table.
Note: Device screenshots and menus may vary depending on the device model and software version.
