How to use Workout Tracker on your 2024 Samsung Smart TV

2024 Samsung Smart TVs come with the Workout Tracker feature! This feature allows you to simultaneously track your workout data and view TV content during home exercise sessions. You can connect your Galaxy watch to your TV and check workout data such as your workout duration, calories burned, and heart rate.

Workout Tracker requires a 2024 Samsung Smart TV or Samsung Smart Monitor and a Galaxy watch paired to a Galaxy phone. Please review the additional requirements before using Workout Tracker.

Supported Samsung Smart TVs and Samsung Smart Monitors

  • 2024 TVs including models UHD7000 and later.
  • 2024 monitors including models M80, M70, M50, G85S, G80S, and G70.

Supported mobile devices

  • Galaxy Watch 4 and later models paired with a Galaxy phone running One UI version 4.1.1 and later.

Notes

  • Workout Tracker is not available with Galaxy Fit models.
  • The mobile Samsung Health app and Galaxy watch must be updated to the latest software (available after March 2024). Check if the Auto update apps option is enabled in the Galaxy Store app, and check if the Auto update option is turned on in the Galaxy watch Settings menu.

Workout Tracker requirements

  • Your Smart TV, watch, and mobile device must be logged in to the same Samsung Account.
  • Both the watch and mobile device must be placed near the Smart TV or monitor.

Note: If the Samsung Account is different, you can change the account using the Workout Tracker user guide on the Daily+ screen.

With Workout Tracker, you can enjoy watching TV content while also tracking your workout data. Please follow the instructions below to start using Workout Tracker.

Connect from your watch

1 On your watch, swipe right until you reach the Samsung Health tile.
2 Select your desired workout type.

4 Begin the workout. Your workout data will be displayed on the TV.

Connect from your TV

1 From the left side of the TV’s Home screen, select Daily+.
2 Select the Watch icon under the Workout Tracker section.

3 Follow the on-screen instructions and then select your desired workout type on your watch. You will receive an alert on your watch.

4 Begin the workout. Your workout data will be displayed on the Smart TV.

Note: Device screenshots and menus may vary depending on the device model and software version.

When pressing and holding the Return button on the Smart TV’s remote control, you’ll be able to access the following options:

  • Widget type: Choose the size for the Workout Tracker widget. You can select from Minimize, Normal, or Maximize.

Note: The number of widget types will vary depending on the selected workout. For example, there could be two or three widget types.

  • Widget Position: Choose the position for the Workout Tracker widget. You can select from Top Right, Top Left, Bottom Right, or Bottom Left.
  • Pause/Resume: Pause or resume the selected workout.
  • Exit: End the selected workout and view a summary of your workout session.
