Recycled Packaging

For Galaxy smartphones, tablets and wearables Samsung Pick up Repair service uses 100% recyclable packaging to both collect and deliver the device.

The boxes are all FSC certified (c-149478)  and are made with the help of responsible sources that maintain forests sustainably.  FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council and the certification confirms that our recyclable boxes have been either produced from FSC certified forests or verified as recycled / made from controlled wood.
 
Vacuum Cleaners are collected in a padded crate/tote to ensure that the product is not damaged during transit, and are returned in 100% recyclable boxes.

So far, our leading courier partner DPD has delivered 63,578 parcels to Samsung customers using electric vehicles.*

This is the equivalent of planting 249 trees and saving 17,548kg of CO2.

When a Samsung Authorised Service Partner repairs a product, they always strive to minimise electronic-waste (E-waste) by replacing only the parts that are required. E-waste refers to any discarded electronic product that is no longer in use.

Samsung also uses long lasting materials such as durable Gorilla glass in order to sustain the life of devices. Developed by Corning, Gorilla glass is a highly damage resistant glass designed for use in device screens.
