How do I change the language on my Laundry U washing machine?

If your Laundry U washing machine is in the incorrect language, you can use the System Functions menu to adjust it. If you are having issues changing the language you can also reset your washing machine to the factory settings. This will allow you to choose the language when you set it up again.

Please note: these instructions are only for Laundry U washing machines. If the control panel on your washing machine does not look like the one in the steps below, please visit Samsung Support and search for the model number of your washing machine for further information

How to change the language

1 To change the language on your Laundry U machine, tap and hold the additional function button for 5 seconds. There will be a click and the System Function menu will open

2 Turn the navigation dial to the left 3 times to select Language

3 Tap the OK button to confirm

4 Turn the navigation dial to your required language

5 Tap the OK button to confirm

6 Press the additional function button to exit the system functions menu

How to perform a factory reset

1 Press and hold the additional functions button for 5 seconds. There will be a click and the System Function menu will open

2 Turn the navigation dial to the left 2 times to select Factory Reset

3 Tap the OK button to confirm

4 Turn the navigation dial to the left 2 times to select ok

5 Tap the OK button to confirm

After your washing machine has been factory reset it will automatically turn itself off. Once you turn your washing machine on again, all the settings, including language choice will be available.
