Overview of the One UI 6 Watch update
One UI 6 is the latest Samsung Galaxy OS update, introducing design enhancements and new features that provide a more streamlined and personalised experience, with a greater focus on your health and well-being.
The One UI 6 Watch update is expanding to more Galaxy Watch models, delivering advanced health insights, new fitness tools, modern watch faces, and effortless integration with other Galaxy devices.
Please note: The update will first be available to the Galaxy Watch6 series, and then become available sequentially to previous generations. Availability may vary by market, model carrier and paired smartphone.
Update your Galaxy Watch
You can regularly check for updates if your Galaxy Watch and smartphone are synced. To update your watch, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Wearable app > Watch settings
2. Select Watch software update
3. Select Download and install
You can also get this update directly from your watch. Just open Settings and swipe up to select Software update and select Download and install.
Please note: You will still need to pair your phone to a compatible Smartphone to update directly from your watch.

Also, the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 support smartphones with an Android 11.0 system and later versions. The compatible models are as follows:

Please note: The Galaxy Watch update is not compatible with iOS devices.
This update introduces enhanced experiences for connected Galaxy devices. It includes features like Suggested replies, an AI-powered tool that helps you send suitable responses, and Double Pinch Gestures, allowing you to control your Galaxy smartphone directly from your wrist, such as answering calls, dismissing alarms, taking photos and more.
