The double pinch gesture is a multi-purpose feature of the Galaxy Ring that enables you to control your smartphone with a hand gesture.
Simply double pinch your fingers with the ring on one of them to take a picture / video or quickly turn off an alarm.

Please note: Both actions can be turned on at the same time. In the case an alarm goes off while the Camera app is open, double pinching will turn off the alarm first.

6 Your double pinch gestures are set up and ready to be used

Wearing your Galaxy Watch and Ring at the same time will save power on your Ring by limiting the heart rate and sleep data it is tracking. If your Watch runs out of battery or has difficulty recording data, tracking will resume on your Ring to keep measurements up to date.
