Samsung Galaxy A54 vs S24+: What's the difference
Galaxy A Series is Samsung's mid-range of smartphones that combine innovative features with an affordable price tag. Galaxy A54 5G is the newest smartphone in A Series and was released in March 2023.
Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy S24+ have a similar design, with a flat display and three individual camera lenses on the rear. However, Galaxy S24+ has a more premium feel thanks to its enhanced Armor Aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus2 display. When it comes to performance, Galaxy S24+ ups the ante with a super powerful Exynos 2400 processor . The processor takes gaming to another level with mind-blowing graphics and smooth, responsive gameplay. Galaxy A54 5G has a less powerful processor, the Exynos 1380, which can handle most tasks but may struggle with graphic intensive gaming apps.
While they are also almost the same weight, Galaxy S24+ has a larger screen at 6.7¹⁰ inches vs. 6.4 inches for Galaxy A54 5G.¹¹ The real difference comes in the display technology where Galaxy S24+ benefits from impressive QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X and Adaptive Vision Booster. The high resolution of Galaxy S24+ (3120 x 1440 vs. 2340 x 1080 pixels) paired with an incredible 2600 nits of brightness means that all the content you see looks vibrant, even when you’re outside. In fact, phones in Galaxy S24 Series boast Samsung’s brightest screens yet, so you’ll see everything in perfect detail wherever life takes you.
Unlike Galaxy A54 5G, Galaxy S24+ is also packed with powerful AI tech that is designed to save you time and effort, while allowing you to do a whole lot more with your phone. For example, Chat Assist¹² provides content suggestions, whether you’re messaging a friend or writing a post on social media. For pictures that really pop, enhanced AI Nightography captures every shade and texture, even in the dark, and when it comes to photo editing, Photo Assist¹² gives you recommendations and automatic improvements.
