Can I purchase a Samsung VIP Advantage membership on Samsung.com?
Yes, you can purchase VIP Advantage membership [“online” – MLP placeholder] and by upgrading from your Samsung Rewards account through the My Rewards page.
Can I purchase a Samsung VIP Advantage membership in Guest mode?
No, customers need to have Samsung Account login in order to purchase VIP Advantage program.
What is the difference between Samsung Rewards and Samsung VIP Advantage membership?
Samsung Rewards is Samsung Electronics’ tiered loyalty program in the U.S. It consists of four tiers: Silver, Gold, Platinum, and VIP Advantage. The lower three tiers are free to join and are based on your historical Rewards point earnings on Samsung.com. VIP Advantage is a paid, fourth tier that includes Platinum perks, plus exclusive premium benefits for members. Learn more about Samsung Rewards.
How do I return or cancel the Samsung VIP Advantage membership?
You can cancel your membership by managing your subscription on your My Rewards page. You may be entitled to a refund of your membership fee based on when you cancel your membership.
- If you cancel within 30 days, you will be entitled to a refund equal to the amount paid for your annual membership fee, provided no products and/or services have been purchased or accepted post-delivery while an active member, all purchased product(s) have been returned within the standard return period while an active member, or all purchased product(s) orders have been cancelled prior to shipment while an active member.
- If you cancel after 30 days, you are not entitled to a refund, but the membership will be cancelled for the following cycle. You will be downgraded to the applicable unpaid Samsung Rewards tier based on your historical accumulation of Rewards points after your Samsung VIP Advantage membership expires. Exceptions apply to cancellations outside the 30-day window. [Please see complete Terms and Conditions for more information].
Will my Samsung VIP Advantage membership be auto-renewed each year?
Yes, your Samsung VIP Advantage membership will be auto-renewed each year and your debit or credit card on file will be charged $149.99 on your annual renewal date, provided that you do not cancel before that date. We will notify you in advance of membership renewal to your Samsung Account registered email.
Questions about Samsung VIP Advantage membership benefits
Can I use my Samsung VIP Advantage Membership benefits for purchases outside of Samsung.com?
Most benefits will only apply to purchases on Samsung.com, which include 3% cash back in Rewards points, early access to sales events, free haul-away and simple installations, and 50% discounts on TV mounting and complex installations for applicable product categories, and free 2-year Samsung Care+ service plans with eligible product purchases. How does early access to sales events work?
As a Samsung VIP Advantage member, you will receive periodic email invitations that will enable you to access sales events and limited product releases before they are opened to the general public.
How do I claim my free simple installation and haul-away and 50% discount on TV mounting, and complex appliance installation benefits?
Current Samsung VIP Advantage Members:
You will need to login to your Samsung Account so we can enable the benefits to you on Samsung.com and/or the Samsung Shop App. After doing this, we you will be able to select Installation, Haul-away, and/or TV Mounting services that show the discounted membership rate as you are shopping on our site and these discounts will apply to your purchase.
Current Samsung Silver/Gold/Platinum Rewards Members:
You will need to login to your Samsung Account and select to buy the Samsung VIP Advantage membership as you are shopping on our product pages or by going to “My Rewards” and upgrading to the VIP Membership from there.
