Introducing Mobile Driver's License on Samsung Wallet. In select states,1 you can now add your Driver's License or State ID to Samsung Wallet and use it at participating TSA checkpoints. Instead of taking out your physical ID and passing it to a TSA Officer, you can open your Mobile Driver’s License, authenticate, and tap or scan to verify your ID on a TSA digital identity reader.

Where you can use it

Mobile Driver's License is currently available to Driver’s License and State ID holders from select states for use at TSA checkpoints in participating airports.2 We plan to add more states on an ongoing basis.

It's secure and private

With fingerprint or PIN required for access, and with Samsung Knox on your Galaxy phone, your Mobile Driver's License is secure. The personal information from your Driver's License or State ID is encrypted.

More to Come

This is just the beginning for Mobile Driver's Licenses. In addition to new states, we look forward to adding uses beyond TSA checkpoints , some of which are currently not even possible with a physical ID.

Anticipated trade-in value will be applied as a credit at time of purchase, but, if you do not send in your trade-in device within 15 days of receipt of your Qualifying Purchase, you will be charged back for the trade-in credit applied to your purchase, or if you send in your trade-in device within 15 days of receipt of your Qualifying Purchase but Samsung determines your device does not meet all eligibility requirements, you will be charged back for the trade-in credit applied to your purchase minus $25. Participation in this program does not excuse you from contracts with your carrier or retailer (or any related payments or fees) for the device that was traded in.
