Get the best setup with your controller and Galaxy phone
Connect the Moga XP5-X Plus controller
Connect using Bluetooth
- Swipe down from the top of your phone’s screen to open the Quick settings panel, and then tap the Bluetooth icon to turn it on.
- Turn on your controller by pressing the Xbox button. The LED will illuminate when it’s on.
- Then, press and hold the Bluetooth button (located on the back of the controller) for two seconds. The LED will flash during syncing.
- Wait for the controller to appear in the Available devices list on your phone. Then, select it and tap Done.
- If your controller doesn’t appear in the list, tap Scan on your phone to search for it.
Note: A previously paired device will automatically connect to the controller when it’s powered on. - The LED will turn solid when your controller is connected.
Connect using a USB cable
- Connect the USB cable to your controller, and then connect the other end to your phone.
- Adjust the switch on the center of your controller to use wired mode.
- If the initial wired connection is unsuccessful, you can switch modes by pressing and holding the Start and Select buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
- The LED will flash three times when the change is successful. Repeat the process to switch back.

Connect an Xbox Bluetooth controller
A standard Xbox Bluetooth controller can be connected to your phone as well! Just start by turning on your controller and syncing it to your phone.
- Swipe down from the top of your phone’s screen to open the Quick settings panel, and then tap the Bluetooth icon to turn it on.
- Turn on your controller by pressing the Xbox button in the center.
- Press and hold the Bind button (located on the top of the controller) for 3 seconds and then release it.
- The controller should appear on your phone's Bluetooth settings page. If it doesn't, tap Scan.
- When it appears, select your controller from the list of available devices.
Connect a PlayStation controller
If you prefer using a PlayStation controller, you can connect your PS4 or PS5 Bluetooth controller to your phone.
- Swipe down from the top of your phone’s screen to open the Quick settings panel, and then tap the Bluetooth icon to turn it on.
- To place the controller in Pairing Mode, press and hold the Share button (or the Create button on the PS5 controller) and the PS button simultaneously for a couple seconds.
- When the controller starts to flash, release the buttons.
- The controller should appear on your phone's Bluetooth settings page. If it doesn't, tap Scan.
- When it appears, select your controller from the list of available devices. The controller will flash as it pairs to your phone.
