How to use your Samsung gas range or cooktop

Locate the burner of your choice. The burner indicators are located above each knob and let you know which burner you’re controlling.

Push in the control knob, and then turn it to the Lite position. You will hear a clicking sound which indicates the ignition system is working properly.

After the surface burner lights, turn the control knob to adjust the flame level between LO and HI.

When you are done cooking, turn the control knob to the OFF position.

Hold a long gas grill lighter next to the burner you want to light.

Push in the control knob for that burner, and then turn it to the Lite position.

Turn on the grill lighter to ignite the burner.

After the burner is lit, turn the control knob to adjust the flame level between LO and HI.

When you are done cooking, turn the control knob to the OFF position.
