USB 3.0 ports stopped working on Samsung PC
Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable, without any port replicators, docks, or adapters.
Check for updates on Samsung Update.
Check for troublesome drivers.
Open Device Manager (one method is to right click the start button and select Device Manager). In the device list, look for any USB devices that are experiencing issues. If you see one, right click it and select Update Driver and then Search automatically for updated driver software. After this process completes, click Search for updated drivers on Windows Update.
If the device still shows it has an issue in Device Manager after updating the drivers, or if there are no updates available, then right click the device and select Uninstall device. Once the device is uninstalled, reboot the computer.
Reset the PC.
