Water Resistance Facts for Devices with an IP68 Rating

Some Galaxy phones have an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP68. This measurement shows how well protected devices are from dust and water. The first digit stands for the dust and dirt rating, which ranges from 1 to 6. The second digit stands for the water rating, which ranges from 1 to 8. So, an IP rating of 68 means the phone has a dust/dirt rating of 6 (the highest) and a water rating of 8 (the highest).
