External Memory Details for DeX

With DeX's PC-like experience, accessing external memory is simple. Lucky, you can add external memory, transfer files, and more on your Samsung DeX by using its two USB-A 2.0 ports. If you want to, move files onto it using a USB drive.

Ensure that the USB storage device has USB 2.0 connections. USB 3.0 isn't compatible with the DeX Station.

Alternatively, select the USB icon on the taskbar, and then select Open

Safely Unmount USB Storage Device

To prevent the data on the USB storage device from becoming corrupted, unmount your USB drive first.

From the DeX Home screen, select the USB icon on the taskbar, and then select Unmount. The USB storage device is now safe to remove.
