What is the Trade-in process?

If your device is eligible for trade-in, you can make your trade-in purchase by following these steps:

Step 1. Visit trade-in.regener8group.co.za/switchtogalaxy and complete the evaluation of your old phone. As part of the application process you will need to confirm the address of where the original device will be collected by our courier.
Step 2. Save your content, images and phone book on a cloud based solution and clear all confidential information from your old device.
Step 3. Upon successful evaluation of your device, the final trade‑in amount will be issued to you via a Trade-in Redemption code. You can then purchase any item on our online store shop.samsung.com/za. Trade-in Redemption Codes will only be issued to the customer after the relevant cooling off period.

Terms

1. How to take part in the Trade-In Programme. Prior to placing an order for a New Device you will be asked to complete the device questionnaire on the Trade-In Programme webpage which you can access on trade-in.regener8group.co.za/switchtogalaxy
2. How to take part in the Trade-Up Programme. Once you have received your Promoted Device and you wish to trade-in your Existing Device, you will need to complete the device questionnaire on the Trade-In webpage which you can access on trade-in.regener8.co.za/switchtogalaxy
If you choose to participate in the Trade-In Programme or the Trade-Up Programme and if we confirm that your Existing Device meets the Trade-In or Trade-Up Programme criteria, Regener8 Group Proprietary Limited (“Regener8”) or its agent will collect the Existing Device from you within 10 days of the date on which we send the trade-in offer to you.
