Media reports state that Wi-Fi performance of the Galaxy Tab S5e is reduced when holding certain areas by hand.
If you hold the specific area where the Wi-Fi antenna is located by hand, the Wi-Fi communication performance
can be affected. However this is also similar to other products and devices that support general Wi-Fi communication.
If the Wi-Fi signal is strong, holding the antenna part by hand does not significantly affect the antenna performance, but if the Wi-Fi signal is low
(inner of the house, far locations from the Wi-Fi AP), covering the antenna part may affect the signal performance, and it can result in a loss of Wi-Fi communication.
In this case, your Wi-Fi AP in home supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, it is recommended that you make both available.
Please register all 2.4GHz and 5GHz APs in the available network lists and turn on the 'Auto reconnect' option.
※ Wi-Fi > Available networks > Select target AP > Turn on the Auto reconnect
Additionally, Samsung is scheduled to release a new software that will support the improved Wi-Fi performance for the Galaxy Tab S5e.
Therefore, please check for updates to your device SW regularly via the FOTA or Smart Switch PC.
Samsung encourages users to keep your software and apps updated to latest version.
