Do Samsung Plasma TVs Need A Set Top Box To Receive HDTV?

 

 

 

All Samsung Plasma TVs that are capable of displaying HDTV built before 2005 need a digital set top box to receive HDTV.Not In South Africa. All Samsung Plasma TVs built during or after 2005, starting with the HP-R series, have built in HDTV (ATSC) tuners and do not need a digital set top box to receive HDTV.Not In South Africa Yet.
