Disney+ compatibility
Disney+ is available right now on Samsung Smart TVs manufactured from 2016 to the current lineup. For a full list of compatible models, check out our apps page. A Samsung Account and internet connection are required.*
If Disney+ is not compatible with your TV, but you still want to enjoy it on your TV, there are a lot of devices that have access, many of which you might already have at home. Roku streaming devices, Amazon Fire TV, Xbox One, PS4, and Apple TV all have Disney+ so if you have one of those connected to your Samsung TV, you can still join in the fun!
How to get Disney+
If you have a compatible Samsung TV, follow these steps to download the Disney+ app:
Navigate to and select Apps on your TV's Home screen.
Use the directional buttons on your remote to select the search button (magnifying glass) that is located in the top right corner of the apps screen.
Enter "Disney+" using the on-screen keyboard, and then highlight and select Enter.
If Disney+ appears, select it and then select Install.
If Disney+ does not appear, it means that your TV is not compatible. You can still get Disney+ by connecting one of the many devices that are compatible with Disney+ to your TV.
* A Samsung Account is required for network-based smart services, including streaming apps and other smart features. A separate (connected) computer, mobile, or other device may be necessary to create/log in to a Samsung Account. Without an Account login, only external device connections (e.g., via HDMI) and terrestrial/over-the-air TV (only for TVs with tuners) are available.
