Microphone options for Pro Videos on your Galaxy phone

Your Galaxy phone’s Pro Video feature allows you to adjust the microphone when filming to get the best audio possible. Sounds can be recorded from different directions with the Multi-source microphone options, making your videos' audio crisp and clear. The microphone will capture sounds from behind you, in front of you, or all directions at once. Or, you can connect an audio device to capture sounds instead.

  1. Begin by opening the Camera app.
  2. Tap MORE, and then tap PRO VIDEO.
  3. Next, tap MIC in the list of options at the bottom. You may need to swipe left to find this option.

Note: If you are using the Z Flip, tap Phone instead. The Omni, Front, and Rear options will be selected automatically.
