Wash curtains in your Samsung washing machine

Add a small amount of mild detergent to your washer. Do not use bleach unless your curtains are completely white!

Add your curtains. Depending on the size of your machine, you may only want to add one curtain at a time.

Note: If you’re unsure, run a cycle with one curtain and check if it comes out clean. If you're satisfied with how one curtain came out, you can try washing two curtains at once during the next cycle.

Select the Delicate or Hand wash cycle on your machine, and use lukewarm or cool water. Then, begin the cycle. For instructions specific to your washing machine, please refer to your user manual.

If you need to iron your curtains, remove them prior to the end of the cycle and hang them on a clothesline. You can also lay them on a flat surface, such as a bed or table. However, if you do not need to iron them, they can be left in the machine until the cycle is finished.

Generally, curtains should not be placed in a dryer. If you must put them in a dryer, only use a Delicate or Low temperature setting.

Fill your sink with lukewarm or cool water.

Add a small amount of liquid laundry detergent.

Place the curtains in the sink and slowly move them around with your hands.

Then, drain the soapy water and fill the sink with fresh water. Swish and rinse the curtains again. You can repeat this a few more times if needed.

Drain the excess water and then remove the curtains from the sink.

Lay the curtains on a flat surface, such as a table, to air dry them. If the curtains are heavy or retain a lot of water, you can lay down towels on the table first.

Note: Carefully roll up the curtains to remove extra water if necessary.
