Differences between the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4

The cameras on the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 include the features you know and love from previous models, plus some updated specs.

Just like the Z Fold3, the Z Fold4 includes an under-display camera, so you don’t need to worry about the camera cutout when watching content or gaming. Your photos and videos will be clearer and brighter than ever, thanks to the upgraded wide lens and Night mode. Plus, get a crystal clear distance shot with 30X Space Zoom.

S Pen compatibility is back for the Galaxy Z Fold4! You can create notes on the go using the main screen and then refer to them later. The Z Fold4 can be used with the S Pen Fold Edition and the S Pen Pro.

Although the Z Flip4 does not support the S Pen, it still includes Flex mode for all of your multitasking needs. You can check out the next section for more information.

The Z Flip4’s cover screen is an improvement of its predecessor. Making calls, sending and replying to messages, using Quick settings and widgets, opening Samsung Wallet, and even controlling Scenes with SmartThings are all possible from the cover screen.

Watching content and chatting via social media apps is even easier now with Flex mode on the Z Flip4. You can jump between different apps using the touchpad controls on the bottom half of the screen for hands-free navigation. Just fold your phone to start Flex mode, and prop it up on a solid surface to enjoy videos and apps!

If you’re concerned about your foldable phone’s durability, you can rest easy knowing that both the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 are comprised of Gorilla Glass Victus+ on their front displays and Armor Aluminum on their exterior frames. They also include sturdy screen protectors and have a water resistance rating of IPX8.

Note: The Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 do not have an IP rating for dust resistance.
