Activating Samsung News
Your Galaxy device is equipped with both Samsung News and Google Discover, allowing you the flexibility to switch between them as desired. To activate Samsung News, simply:
From the Home screen, touch and hold a blank area, then swipe right.
You'll see a split page featuring both Google Discover and Samsung News. Tap on Samsung News.
The next time you swipe right from the Home screen, Samsung News will greet you.
Customizing Samsung News notifications
Stay in the loop with notifications for breaking news, editor's picks, and new podcast episodes by:
Swiping right from the Home screen to access Samsung News.
Tap More options (three vertical dots) > Settings > Notifications.
Toggle the switches to turn notifications on or off as per your preference.

Tap More options > Settings, and enable Auto play next episode for a seamless listening experience.

From the Home screen, swipe right and open Samsung News, then tap the Following tab.

Deactivating Samsung News

Touch and hold a blank area of the Home screen, swipe right, and toggle the switch at the top to turn off both Samsung News and Google Discover.
Switching between Google Discover and Samsung News
Devices like the Galaxy Z Fold and S series support both services, allowing easy switching:
Touch, hold, and swipe right on the Home screen to choose between Google Discover and Samsung News.
To disable both, repeat the process and tap the switch at the top.
