The new and improved FlexCam on the Galaxy Z Flip5
The large Flex Window cover screen on the Galaxy Z Flip5 can unlock amazing new capabilities, including a camera so functional, you'll never need to open your phone to take a selfie. All the camera modes you've come to know and love on Galaxy devices are just a flip away.
Use the Camera from the Flex Window
When the phone is closed, you can open the Camera app by double pressing the Side key or tapping the Camera icon when the screen is on.
Swipe left or right on the screen to choose PORTRAIT, PHOTO, or VIDEO.
Take a picture or start recording by tapping the screen or pressing the Volume key.
Pinch the screen using your fingers to zoom in and out.
Tap the down arrow icon to adjust the settings for your shooting mode.
Once you've taken some pictures, you can tap the thumbnail in the bottom right to review your shots. Tap Favorite (the heart icon) to set a picture as your favorite, or tap Delete (the trash can icon) to delete a picture.
To use all of the Camera app's functions, simply open the phone and continue your photo session.
Use the Camera from the main screen
All the shooting modes and features you love from Galaxy devices are also available on the Z Flip5's main screen when using Flex Mode.
To use Flex Mode on the main screen, fold the phone into an L shape. Then, navigate to and open the Camera app. When using the app, the viewfinder will appear on the top portion of the screen, and the controls will appear on the bottom portion. You can set your phone down nearly anywhere to take selfies and videos when using Flex Mode!
