Connect the Auto Icemaker Kit to your Samsung refrigerator
If you purchased a Samsung refrigerator that did not come with its own ice maker, you’re in luck! You can now connect an Auto Icemaker Kit to compatible Samsung refrigerators so your family can enjoy chilled, crisp ice cubes throughout the day. The ice maker can also be removed from your refrigerator whenever you need the extra storage space.
Note: The Quick Connect Auto Icemaker Kits are only compatible with select Samsung Top Freezer Refrigerator models.
Quick Connect Auto Icemaker Kits
Two types of Quick Connect Auto Icemaker Kits are currently available:
Quick Connect Auto Icemaker Kit for RT16A: Compatible with the RT16A6195SR/AA Top Freezer Refrigerator model. This kit produces up to 3.3 pounds of ice each day and stores up to 4.4 pounds of ice.
Quick Connect Auto Icemaker Kit for RT18M/RT21M: Compatible with the RT21M6213SG/AA, RT21M6213SR/AA, RT21M6213WW/AA, RT18M6213SG/AA, RT18M6213SR/AA, and RT18M6213WW/AA Top Freezer Refrigerator models. This kit produces up to 3.7 pounds of ice each day and stores up to 5.5 pounds of ice.
