Using the Action Center on your Samsung PC
Customizing quick actions
- Identify your operating system (Windows 10 or Windows 11) to navigate to the correct customization steps.
- For Windows 10, click the Action Center icon on the taskbar, right-click the Action Center menu, and select Edit.
- For Windows 11, open the Quick Settings panel and click the Edit icon (a pencil)
- Remove or add desired quick actions based on your preferences. Click Add to include a new action, and click the pin icon to remove an action. Drag and drop items to rearrange.
- After customizing your quick actions, click Done to finish.
Manage notifications
- Determine your operating system (Windows 10 or Windows 11) to locate the proper notification settings.
- For Windows 10, click the Actions Center icon on the taskbar and manage notifications at the top of the menu.
- For Windows 11, open the Notification Center and click Settings (three dots) at the top.
- Adjust notification settings and individual app permissions according to your preferences. You can also enable or disable Focus Assist to control when notifications are shown.
- Dismiss individual notifications by hovering over them and clicking the X icon or clear all notifications by selecting Clear all.
Adjusting screen brightness
- Confirm that your computer isn't connected to an external monitor to utilize the built-in brightness adjustment feature.
- For Windows 10, click the Action Center icon on the taskbar and expand the menu to reveal the brightness slider.
- For Windows 11, click the Action Center icon, open the Quick Settings panel, and locate the brightness slider.
- Use your mouse to drag the brightness slider to your preferred level.
Windows 11
To change the brightness, open the Quick Settings panel by selecting the Network, Volume, or Battery icon on the right side of the taskbar. Then, adjust the brightness slider to your desired level.
