Galaxy XR: Connect with other Samsung devices and services
Quick Share
- Both devices must be signed in to the same Samsung account and have Quick Share enabled.
- Ensure devices are within range for successful file transfer.
Easily share files with other Samsung devices signed in to your Samsung account from your headset.
- Press the Top button on your headset to open the Launcher menu.
- Navigate to the app containing the file you want to share. For example, open the Gallery app
- Choose the desired file. For example, select a picture to view additional options, and then select More options (the three vertical dots) from the top right corner.

- Select Share, and then select Quick Share from the pop-up. Your headset will begin looking for nearby devices.

- When the other device appears, select its name to send the file. The other device may require permission before it can receive the file. On your headset, "Sent" will appear under the other device's name when the transfer is complete.
Call on other devices
- Call continuity is available only on Galaxy phones running Android P OS or later, with at least 3GB of memory.
- Ensure your headset and phone are signed in to the same Samsung account.
- To make and get calls from the phone, the Call on other devices feature should be turned on both your Galaxy XR and phone.
- Text feature on other devices is not supported.
- To get notifications from your phone, Galaxy XR should be synced with the phone through Phone Link on Quick Settings. You'll need to download and install the Galaxy XR app on the phone through the Galaxy Store.
Make and answer phone calls from your Galaxy headset connected to your Samsung account.
- Press the Top button on your headset to open the Launcher.
- Select Settings, and then select Connected devices.
- Select Call on other devices. If you're not signed into your Samsung account, you'll be prompted to do so.

- Follow the on-screen prompts, and then select Continue twice to allow the permissions.
- From here, you can view your Samsung account and disable or enable calling for the headset as needed.
Auto Switch Buds
- Ensure your Galaxy Buds are paired with your Samsung account for seamless switching.
- This feature works across compatible Samsung devices for a smooth audio experience.
Automatically switch your Galaxy Buds from another device to your headset when you make or answer a call or play media.
- Press the Top button on your headset to open the Launcher.
- Select Settings, and then select Connected devices.
- Select Auto Switch Buds and view the Galax Buds connected to your Samsung account.

- Now, your headset will automatically connect to the paired Galaxy Buds you're wearing when you make or answer a call or play media.
Continue apps on other devices
- Ensure all devices are signed in to the same Samsung account for seamless integration.
- This feature works across Galaxy phones, tablets, headsets, and computers.
Pick up where you left off on your Galaxy devices signed in to your Samsung account.
- Press the Top button on your headset to open the Launcher.
- Select Settings, and then select Connected devices.
- Select Connect apps on other device, and then turn on the switch at the top of the menu.

- Now, you can pick up where you left off on your Galaxy devices, signed in to your Samsung account.
- Tap the icon that appears on the Recents screen on your headset to resume your activity.
- Copy text, images, files, or videos on one device and paste them on another.
Smart View
- Ensure your TV and headset are on the same Wi-Fi network for successful connection.
- Smart View works with compatible Samsung TVs and other supported devices.
Display your device's screen or play videos on a nearby TV.
- Press the Top button on your headset to open the Launcher.
- Select Settings, and then select Connected devices.
- Select Smart View, and then select Continue. Select Continue again to grant permission.
- A list of compatible devices will appear. Select your TV to mirror your headset's screen or play content. On the connecting TV, select Allow to establish the connection.

- Your device's screen will now appear on the TV, allowing you to share content or play videos seamlessly.
PC Link
- PC Link is available only on Galaxy Book devices running Windows 11 or later version.
- Both your headset and Galaxy Book must have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on.
- Both devices must be signed in to your Samsung account.
- The Second screen app and the Multi control app must be installed on your Galaxy Book.
Connect your headset with your Galaxy Book through Phone Link to view and control your PC in a virtual environment.
- Press the Top button on your headset to open the Launcher.
- Select Settings, and then select Connected devices.
- Select PC Link, and then select Continue to grant permissions.
- Select your Galaxy Book from the Available devices list. Once connected, you can view and control your PC in a virtual environment.
