What is Samsung Care+?

With Samsung Care+, you get more than just protection against the unexpected for your new eligible Samsung purchase. A team of Pros will help you get started with your new product, show you how to get the most out of its advanced features and answer all of your questions.

How do I enroll in Samsung Care+?

You can enroll in Samsung Care+ on Samsung.com with the purchase of an eligible home appliance, television, or monitor. At checkout, you will be offered the option to add Samsung Care+ to your cart.

Am I automatically enrolled in Samsung Care+?

No, you are not automatically enrolled in Samsung Care+. You must enroll in Samsung Care+ when purchasing your eligible Samsung product on Samsung.com.

What is the cost of Samsung Care+?

The cost of Samsung Care+ varies by product category and term. Please add the product to your cart to see your Samsung Care+ options and cost.

What is the length of coverage?

  • For eligible TV and Monitors: two (2) years or four (4) years plan available*
  • For eligible Home Appliances: two (2) years, three (3) years, five (5) years, or seven (7) years*

*The length of coverage includes one (1) year Samsung manufacturer’s warranty

When does Samsung Care+ coverage begin?

Samsung Care+ starts from date of purchase or when your product is delivered (whichever is later). The service plan excludes coverage for any loss covered by the manufacturer's warranty, but it may provide benefits in addition to those provided by the manufacturer's warranty.

After I enroll my product in Samsung Care+, when should I expect to receive my coverage documents?

You’ll receive an email to the email address provided at the time of purchase within 24 hours of purchase to a link to your coverage documents.

I don’t live in one of the 50 United States. Can I still purchase Samsung Care+?

No. Samsung Care+ is currently only available to customers who live in the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, and Washington D.C.

Can I cancel Samsung Care+?

Yes, you can cancel Samsung Care+ at MyCarePlusClaim.com and by calling 1.866.371.9501 at any time. Go to Manage Plans and select the cancel option. You can also cancel Samsung Care+ by calling 1.866.371.9501. If you’re returning a Samsung product, we’ll cancel your plan as part of the return process.

What is covered?

While benefits and service options vary by product, Samsung Care+ protection plans offer coverage above and beyond the manufacturer's warranty, including power surge protection and reimbursement benefits.

Do I have to pay a deductible when I file a claim for a malfunctioning product?

Samsung Care+ protection plans don't have any deductibles or hidden fees, so you won't have to pay a deductible for an approved claim.

Does this plan replace my Samsung manufacturer’s warranty?

No, This plan enhances the coverage already provided by Samsung. Samsung Care+ includes additional coverage and perks that not only start from the date of purchase or when your product is delivered, whichever is later. In the case where coverage overlaps with the manufacturer's warranty, Samsung Care+ is secondary.

How do I file a claim for my Samsung device?

Go to MyCarePlusClaim.com and enter your phone number or email address associated with your plan and then click “File a Claim” for the product you want to file a claim for or file a claim by calling 1.866.371.9501.

Is there a wait period before I can file a claim?

If you purchased Samsung Care+ when you purchased your new Samsung product, your coverage will begin immediately and there is no wait period.

Is there a limit to the number of claims I can make?

The total amount we will pay for all claims made on your product will not exceed the purchase price paid for the product. If we can’t repair your product and it’s replaced or a cash settlement or credit is issued, then your contract will be fulfilled, and you will be able to purchase Samsung Care+ on your new replacement product if you want to help protect your new product

What is not covered under Samsung Care+?

Any loss as a result of: abuse, negligence pre-existing conditions, rust, corrosion, theft, flood, wind, freezing and unusual atmospheric conditions, and any loss covered under a manufacturer's warranty. Please refer to your program Terms and Conditions for a complete list of exclusions.  

Who are the Administrators and Providers of the plan?

In all states, the Administrator and Provider is Federal Warranty Corporation, except in Florida, where the Administrator and Provider is United States Protection Inc., and in Oklahoma, where the Administrator and Provider is Assurant Service Protection, Inc.

How do I redeem this offer?

 

a.      Purchase an eligible Samsung appliance from a participating dealer between February 06, 2025 and September 10, 2025, and save your receipt.

 

b.      Ineligible models: Vacuums, Countertop Microwaves, Accessories.

 

c.       Submit an on-line offer claim between February 06, 2025, and October 10, 2025, visit samsungrebates.com (“Website”) to access the online Offer claim form.

 

d.      Complete and submit the offer claim form between 12:00 PM ET February 06, 2025 and 11:59:59 PM ET October 10, 2025 by following the on-screen prompts to provide the required information including but not limited to: participant’s full name (no initials), complete mailing address (no P.O. Boxes), valid email address, telephone number, and date of birth.  Participants will not be allowed to change their mailing address or email address after submitting.

 

e.      Provide date of Qualifying Purchase and upload a photograph of the original register receipt showing the Qualifying Purchase, including the model number and serial number.  The file must be in .JPEG, .JPG, PDF., .PNG, or GIF, format and may not exceed 20MB.

 

f.       Wait for the email conformation that your claim has been approved and save that email for your records.
